Our world includes two major campaign settings, The Continent of Terra™ and The Dark Continent™. Each setting is briefly described below, to give you an idea of their underlying tone and "feel"; more details are given on the linked pages.
This setting centers around the Western Kingdoms, three neighboring realms that were formed after a long Dark Age, and now struggle against various forms of evil to maintain a safe civilization. Because of this precarious position, adventurers have plenty to do. Read more here.
This setting is based on a continent halfway around the world from the Western Kingdoms, with its own history of struggle against evil; now, however, both continents face the same evil, and the heroes of each are only slowly figuring out how to help each other. Read more here.
